Logistics behind yeah right
Why is it that individuals use the phrase "yeah-right"? This redunancy has a funny sort of effect on it's bearer/ receiver . Making the former look rather stupid and the latter feel so.
How did these two arbitrary words get together in the first place?
Yeah, implies yes, as in, yes you have a fat ass. Right implies correct as in , it is correct that your bottom is massive. Therefore, if someone were to tell you that someone else has got a big caboose, why in heaven's sake would one respond with "yeah right" as the counter claim?
One is obviously stating that one agrees, yet one is connoting a mixed message because everyone knows that ...
"yeah" + "right" = doubt. (difficult mathematical equation)
once again, am going no where.
